SUPER MCCOY BOBBY BAKER COOKIE JAR! HE'S IN GREAT CONDITION WITH ORIGINAL PAINT COMPLETELY INTACT. MARKED ON BOTTOM: 183, MCCOY, LANCASTER COLONY (MARK). HAS NO EVIDENCE OF "USE". DOES HAVE SOME TYPICAL PRODUCTION FLAWS -- DRY (SETTING) RING HAS A FEW ROUGH PLACES, LID HAS SOME STRESS MARKS AND A GLAZE POP (ALL ON UNDERSIDE OF LID). VERY NICE MCCOY LUNCHBOX COOKIE JAR! THIS ONE HAS THE LIGHT YELLOW BOTTOM AND ORANGE LID -- BOTH HAVE "SPECKLES" AND A SHINY GLAZE. JAR IS MARKED ON BOTTOM: 357, USA. This listing has a very nice McCoy Pottery Mammy cookie jar -- an original, not a reproduction!
Jar is soft white color with shiny over-glaze and retains approximately 25% of the original cold paint. Bottom is marked McCoy, USA.
The jar has light crazing and is in excellent vintage condition. The only evidence of "use" is a 1/4" slice type chip that extends down 3/8" on inside rim of jar. It's located by the apron "strings" on inside of jar -- cannot be seen with lid on or off,... Click for details

Made only in 1945, this is McCoy's little clown cookie jar!
It measures 8 1/2" tall and is one of McCoy's smaller cookie jars.
Jar has great detail and mold clarity and is in great condition.
The dry rim of lid has minor roughness and a 1/8" production stress. The only evidence of "use" is minor crazing on lid and bottom -- crazing on interior bottom has darkened caused by the shortening used in cookies.

This listing has an unmarked McCoy cookie bell cookie jar!
It's green with lots of little "speckles", shaped like a bell, and has in-mold word "Cookies" on front.
Jar is in wonderful condition with 3 small flea bites -- there are 2 (1/16" and 1/8") on inside of jar rim and one (1/8") on top of jar. These are teeny and are of no consequence to use or to appearance. The cold paint is worn on lid handle and on the word "Cookies" -- not unusual as cold paint easily "slips" if gotten... ANOTHER NICE MCCOY COOKIE JUG COOKIE JAR! THIS ONE IS A PRETTY GREEN COLOR WITH SHINY GLAZE, HAS "COOKIE JUG" ON FRONT AND BACK. IN GREAT SHAPE -- ONLY EVIDENCE OF "USE" IS A 1/2" CHIP ON INSIDE LIP OF LID. THIS CHIP IS PROBABLY A PRODUCTION STRESS THAT POPPED OFF (IT HAS SOME GREEN GLAZE IN PART OF IT). This listing has a McCoy cookie jar "part" -- the lid for a mammy cookie jar!
Lid is an original not a reproduction and still retains approximately 50% of the original cold paint. It has no cracks and only minor crazing but has 3/4" chip on inside of the lid inner rim. It's on the inside and can't be seen when the lid is on or off the jar bottom -- only if turned upside down!
