Difficult to find McCoy mugs! I purchased a dozen of these mugs at an estate sale and have divided them into 3 listings. These are barrel shape mugs in black with hand painted (cold paint) flowers on fronts, measure 4 ¾” tall, and have the #4 in a shield in a circle mark. They have typical McFlaws – rough places, visible stilt marks, etc -- very common on McCoy’s older items. Mugs are in wonderful condition with only “use” evidence being minor wear to the cold painted flowers and a few nicks on b... Click for details
Another set of 4 McCoy stoneware mugs! Barrel shape black mugs have hand painted (cold paint) flowers on front, measure 4 ¾” tall, and are marked on bottoms with the number 4 inside a shield in a circle. Typical flaws found on McCoy’s older stoneware – rough places, visible stilt marks, etc – the only “use” evidence is minor cold paint wear and a few nicks on bottom – not detrimental!
Another set of McCoy brown drip casseroles! These are the individual size and are marked: 874, McCoy, Lancaster Colony (mark), USA. Set looks new and unused, one handle has a production stress – that’s it! This style is not easily found in the brown drip.
This listing has a single candleholder from McCoy’s floral country line! Holder measures 3 ¾” tall and is in wonderful condition. It has a glazed over ¼” production stress on top edge – not detrimental in any way – and a ½” super tight stress on bottom dry (setting) ring, again it’s production and is of no consequence. This is a very nice item, difficult to find.
This listing has an assortment of dinnerware items from McCoy’s pretty Graystone line! Pieces are priced individually – there are 2 dinner plates (sorry, sold), 3 bread/dessert plates @ $8 each, and 2 saucers @$5 each. Items are in wonderful condition – no chips, no cracks – plates have minor utensil marks, not unusual and not detrimental.

Very nice teapot from McCoy’s Strawberry Country line! This is the larger size of the two sizes produced for this line and is marked on bottom: 1418, McCoy, Lancaster Colony (mark), USA. Teapot looks new and unused – absolutely no evidence of “use”. It has a few typical McFlaws – pin pops on lid and two tiny non-color/glazes on lid edge – of no consequence! Very pretty.
What a treasure – this is the green corn pitcher made by Brush Pottery in the early1900’s! Measures 6” tall, marked on bottom: 44. Pitcher is in wonderful condition – it has typical production blems – a non-color/glaze on side of lip, a glaze pool/run on one side, a fired-on pottery flake at bottom edge. There is also some non-color/glaze on bottom dry (setting) ring and a possible “use” slice type chip – I’m not certain if it’s use or production. Collectors of older stoneware know how difficul... Excellent McCoy Canyon line coffee server! Marked on bottom: 1419, McCoy, Lancaster Colony (mark), USA. Has no “use” evidence – no chips, no cracks, no crazing! It does have a production non-color/glaze on inside rim that is of no consequence. The pot is a warm honey/tan color while the lid is a rust color – both pieces have pretty black sponge ware accents. Very nice item!
Pretty colors on this McCoy cheese shaker! Large shaker with handle measures 4 ¾” tall, 3 ½” diameter at top, and has in-mold “CHEESE” on both sides. Excellent condition but has lost its plastic stopper. These shakers are difficult to find in the brown drip line!
Very pretty canister set from McCoy’s Stonecraft line! These are the more straight shape (not bulbous) and are the pretty creamy color with pink and blue stripes/bands. Largest canister measures 8 ½” tall (to top of handle), the other 3 measure 7 ½” tall. Marked USA and are in wonderful condition – one of the lids has a ½” slice type glaze chip on inner lip that cannot be seen and, because of the color, is not noticeable. Super nice addition to a McCoy collection!
Unmarked McCoy advertising mug made for Deo Optimo Maximo (a liqueur). Mug is dark green with shiny glaze and has the red coat-of-arms/seal on front. Marked on bottom: USA. Excellent condition – no chips, no cracks!

Very nice McCoy mustache mug with the Bourbon Street address on front! Measures 5 ¼” tall, is white with black design and lettering, and has McCoy’s pitcher mark on bottom. Wonderful condition – no chips, no cracks, no crazing!
Another pharmaceutical advertising cup made by McCoy! This one is Rho-Gam Ortho child’s face mug and is a sage green color. In wonderful condition with no chips or cracks, does have some darkened interior crazing – that’s it! Nice addition to a collection.
This listing is for a Schering Coricidin cup made by McCoy! It’s green with shiny glaze and was early from the mold – details are clear and distinct. Excellent condition and a great addition to an advertising or McCoy collection!
