Produced in the 1950’s, this is a really cute McCoy planter – a fat green frog! He’s the brighter green color frog and has in-mold leaves and berries on his back. Mold detail is excellent – can see all the “bumps” on his skin. Planter is in wonderful condition – has a 1/16” ding on a front toe and a 1/16” ding on a leaf – that’s it! McCoy’s frog planters are becoming difficult to find – this one’s neat!

Produced in 1959, this is a lovely McCoy planter! Called a strawberry or hens and chicks planter, it has 6 small openings and a larger center opening. It’s a pretty yellow color with shiny glaze and has a leaf type design on top with ribs on sides. Marked on bottom: McCoy. Planter is in wonderful condition – no chips, no cracks! The interior has a few marks in the silver color that were probably caused by artificial flower stems, there is a 1/8” color flake-off on outside, and production non-color on bottom dry (setting) ring – none are detrimental to this very nice planter. This lovely McCoy flowerpot was made in the 1950’s and has become a difficult find! The pot portion is gray and is shaped like a tulip, the attached drip saucer is green and has a leaves design. Oddly enough, the saucer has a small round handle (like found on chamber sticks/candle holders). The other unusual thing about this planter is that McCoy is incorrectly spelled as Mcoy. This was an error in the mold design. Flowerpot is in excellent condition – no chips, no cracks, has minor crazing. Has... Click for details

Very nice McCoy iron shaped hanging planter made in 1975! It’s in excellent condition with no chips or cracks – still has the original chain – ready to fill and hang! Has some typical glaze drips (production) and for some odd reason, prior owner painted the dry ring black. During my usual scrub routine, I removed most of – there is no damage – I suppose prior owner found the white dry ring to be distracting when the planter was hanging. ??? At any rate, it’s a pretty planter and not your everyd... Click for details

Beautiful colors on this McCoy flower bowl! It’s gray with purple overdrip (similar to spongeware) and one end has an applied purple grape cluster with green leaves. Made in 1953, flower bowl is marked mccoy, usa. Measures 10 3/8” long (at longest), 7 ¾” wide (at widest) and 2 ¾” tall. Flower bowl and grapes are in excellent condition but one of the brown stem ends is blunt -- it has color and I believe it to be production but cannot be certain. One leaf has a 1/16” glaze ding – that’s it!
LOVELY AND DIFFICULT TO FIND MCCOY ITEMS -- FLOWER BOWL WITH MATCHING CANDLEHOLDERS! MADE IN THE 1940's, THESE 3 PIECES ARE MATTE WHITE, ARE UNMARKED, AND HAVE AN IN-MOLD LEAVES WITH A LILY(?) DESIGN. THEY ARE IN GREAT CONDITION WITH SOME CRAZING AND SOME TYPICAL MCFLAWS -- SOME STRESS MARKS, PIN POPS, AND THE FLOWER BOWL HAS SOME TINY DARK COLOR SPECKS UNDER THE GLAZE. THE ONLY THING I COULD SEE THAT MAY BE "USE" EVIDENCE IS A 1/16" DING ON RIM OF FLOWER BOWL -- IT'S TOO SMALL TO BE CERTAIN BUT... Click for details
