This is a lovely set of blue satin glaze baby shoe planters that are most likely made by Shawnee Pottery Company. They are marked USA on the bottom and are circa 1930s to 1940s. They are button up shoes and measure 2.25 inches high and 4.5 inches long. One is in excellent condition and the other has a very thin hairline crack down the center back.

These little Shawnee planters are difficult to find – this is only the second set we’ve had listed! The truck planter measures 3 ½” tall (at tallest), 4 3/8” long (at longest), and 3 1/16” wide (at widest). Bottom is marked 680, Shawnee, USA. The trailer measures 3 ¼” tall (at tallest), 4 ½” long (at longest), and 3 ¼” wide (at widest). Bottom is marked Shawnee, USA, 681. This is a really nice Wishing Well Planter with Dutch Boy and Girl made by Shawnee. It is signed on the front WISHING WELL and on the bottom SHAWNEE USA. This is a wonderful old India elephant planter with asian lady sitting on his head. It is in shades of pink and green on creamy white pottery. I found this in a book a while back and it is either, McCoy, Hull or Shawnee, but I can't remember which. It measures 5 inches high and 6 inches long. It does have a repair on the trunk as per the picture, the rest is in very good condition. It is an auction piece so I am not certain of the age, but think it is from the between 1930 and 1940.

This is a really pretty old planter green bamboo and what look like colorful bunting songbirds on it. It is hand painted and and glazed with semi-opaque glazes. It measures 3.75 inches tall and 4.5 inches across. It has some age glaze crazing and water lime build up but no chips and no cracks. I am not sure of the maker but it looks much like McCoy, Hull or even Shawnee.

Very nice Shawnee salt and pepper shakers! These are the range size shakers (5 ¼” tall) and are from the Sunflower line of the late 1940’s. shakers are marked USA and are in very good condition – the pepper has some discoloration at the top (not unusual) and there is some discoloration at the base edge on both shakers (again, not unusual when kept near a heat source). Both shakers are marked USA and they do not have stoppers.

Adorable brown bear cub and tree stump planter or vase. This piece appears quite old and is unmarked, however, I have seen the same piece listed as American Bisque, McCoy, Shawnee and Royal Copley, so I am not sure of the maker. It measures 5.5 inches tall and 6 inches wide. It has no cracks, but has some rub to the glaze along the back edge and most raised points. Still very cute and would make a great addition to a rustic setting.

This is an vintage 1950s wishing well planter with a pixie or elf dressed all in red. It measures 4.75 inches tall and 3.5 inches across the base. It is in very good condition. Even though the pixie is cold painted red it has very little wear to the paint. This piece looks very much like piece by McCoy and Shawnee but I have no idea of the maker. It is unmarked, but has to be an older piece because of the age glaze crazing. No chips and no cracks.

This cute little scotty dog or Scottish terrier planter is in good condition, no cracks and no chips. It is cold painted and there is some wear to the paint. He measures 5.5 inches tall. This piece is unmarked but it is listed as Shawnee in their book.
