This is a pretty circa 1942 to 1957, water pitcher in the Garden Flower, or sunflower design by Stangl Pottery on Trenton, New Jersey. It is red clay painted white, or cream color and decorated with yellow, gold, rust, brown and green colors and then glazed throughout. It is marked on the bottom. This is a truly wonderful piece that does have a hairline crack at the top edge. It is a hand painted very rich warm 22kt heavy gold gilded pitcher or ewer by Stangl pottery company in Trenton, N.J. circa 1958 to 1962. This is a large piece measuring 11.75 inches tall and approx. 5 inches across the widest part. There is no wear to the pitcher, just the hairline crack. It would still make a stunningly beautiful accent piece.
