A trumpet shaped top rises from the bulbous body of this 6 1/4" vase. It is pictured on page 31(row 4, #3) of Ron Hoopes Guide to Gonder Pottery. Glaze is sponged grey over pink ground. No cracks or chips. Some burst glaze bubbles and two glaze misses--one is quite small--the other is about 1/2" long by 3/8" wide. Marked E-49 and Gonder U.S.A. in block letters.

ANOTHER UNMARKED MYSTERY VASE! LITTLE VASE MEASURES 4 1/2" TALL AND 2 1/4" DIAMETER AT TOP AND IS A PRETTY SUNNY YELLOW COLOR. VERY ATTRACTIVELY DESIGNED -- IT HAS "RIBBING" ON MIDDLE PORTION AND TWO LITTLE "HANDLES" THAT ARE FEATHERED OR LAYERED AND ARE, IN FACT, PART OF THE VASE BODY. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL BUD VASE!!
