Grace Nell, whose production in Hewell pottery, is an inspiration for the other turners, is one of a small number of female potters whose work has been recognized by those in the craft and collectors alike. Hewell pottery is still hand turned and made of local clay.

The Rookwood Pottery Company was established in Cincinnati Ohio in 1879. While early pieces were hand decorated, pieces after 1900 are said to be "production" pieces. From Spain comes this beautiful vintage lustreware vase featuring a floral design with colors that vary from a light blue to a navy blue, much like the flow blue of old porcelain, c.1930. The flowers are accented with green leaves. It is 5 1/4" tall and 3 1/2" across the bulb. The bulb shaped body has a highly glazed white finish with peach colored lustreware at top and bottom accentuated with dark lines of sienna. Apple Green Ball Shaped Flower Frog or Bowl

This is a very pretty apple green ball shaped flower frog or bowl. It still has a gold paper sticker on the bottom which identified the maker; however, it is too worn to read. The bowl has a center hole which is about 3/4" across and is surrounded by twelve smaller holes. It is approximately 4-3/4" tall and 14-1/2" around. It is in very good condition. White Ball Shaped Flower Frog or Bowl

This is an interesting white ball shaped flower frog. It is not marked. It has a center hole that is around 3/4" around and is surrounded by 12 smaller holes for flowers. The frog is 4-3/4" tall and about 14-1/2" around. Overall, the frog is in good condition; however, there is a glazed over chip on one side. I have captured it in the picture. For your consideration I am offering this vintage large fan vase by Camark. This company from Camden Arkansas made fine quality collectible pottery items from 1926 to 1983. Marked in the mold on the bottom "USA Camark 288". Very beautiful light green glaze and it measures 10" high x 13" across.
