For sale is rare 18th century English brass mounted fleam with original leather case by Proctor of Sheffield. The fleam is 3 7/8 inches long, and the case is 4 3/4". The fleam has flat brass sides encasing four steel blades as shown. The three fleam blades are all stamped "S" over "7", as shown; the knife blade is not marked. Buff's personal copy of this medal, executed and signed "in the die" by the prominent Boston engraver and die sinker Conrad Egge. Diameter three inches, thickness 1/4 inch, some very light scuffs as shown but superb overall condition, weight 7.09 oz. Troy and no, that is not a typo this is one massive hunk of exonumia!! Original case is included.
