THIS VINTAGE SUPERIOR TRANSFER DESIGN FEATURES 7 DAY OF THE WEEK KITTEN TOWELS, NO. 142. They show cute cats helping all around the house with the housewife's chores. Cross stitch and embroidery. There is a complete sheet of transfers uncut. The envelope has wear mostly around edges and slight yellowing along seams on back side. Short tears in a couple places.

THIS RARE ANTIQUE BRAINERD AND ARMSTRONG'S CROCHET BOOK FEATURES THE making of opera bags, Irish crochet bags, handkerchief bag, vanity bag. There are 18 pages of instructions for making these bags, as they were all doing 100 years ago. Published about 1900 by Brainerd and Armstrong. SIZE is 6 1/3" X 9 3/4". CONDITION is very good overall with a 2" tear up from bottom of spine on cover bottom and a "snag" in edge at top. I don't think anyone has ever used these pattern to make bags.
