Japanese lanterns are embroidered in tiny cross stitches on this linen luncheon set. Set includes a 34" x 34" tablecloth and four 10" x 10 1/2" napkins. All are hemmed in blue using a blanket stitch. In very good condition. One napkin appears to have been make from a different bolt of fabric because the overall color is slightly more yellow than the rest. Diamond shapes are hand crocheted in ecru/ivory cotton thread with pink ribbons interwoven at edges. It is 31" long and 2 1/2" wide with 11" shoulder straps. Could be a bodice piece, slip or pinafore top or other undergarment. It has a few discolorations that may come out with washing. Ribbons are frayed and torn in places. I did nothing to restore this piece because I love the worn look.... Click for details
