Franklin Porcelain introduced this 25 piece Country Garden porcelain thimble collection in 1983. 25 assorted hand decorated thimbles each featuring a different flower, and each having a different quilt pattern design on the back. Intricately scrolled thimble engraved K & MD sterling inside top of thimble, number 9 outside, circa 1930's or earlier. I can see no flaws except that it is tarnished, no holes. About 3/4 inch tall, weighs less than 1/2 ounce. Appears to have been handcrafted by a silversmith.
