Diameter of body 1-5/8"; of base 1-1/8". Weight of pair 4.95 troy ounces. No monogram, but a round reserve for one. Overall and mark condition are excellent.

Silver mounts on mother-of-pearl. Five-lug hinged lid with catch. Length 2-7/8". There is a script monogram JSG carved into the mother-of-pearl top, and there is an engraved J Gould on the mother-of-pearl bottom. There also appears to be a Chinese ideogram engraved on the bottom. Overall condition is excellent.
