Bright cut, coffin end, arched drop. Length 9-5/8". Weight 1.6 troy ounces. The monogram is a script JP lengthwise on the top of the handle (reputedly for Capt. John Pownal, married May 11, 1800). Overall and mark condition are excellent (very minor dents in the bowl).

Adam and 4 by AS (Asa Sibley of NH or Anthony Simmons of Philadelphia). The 8 spoons all match, including monogram. The marks on the Adam spoons range from excellent to good. Marks on the AS spoons are excellent. See separate entry for the AS spoons. Overall condition of all 8 spoons is excellent.
