The Watson Company of North Attleborough, MA made a wide-ranging series of high relief floral patterns in the early 1900's. Designed by Eustace Crees and Charles Court, they rank as some of the finest representations of nature in American silver flatware.

These are benchmark examples, looking today just as they did upon leaving the factory on Elmwood Avenue some hundred and fifty years ago. Large for a sardine fork, this piece measures 6 3/8" long and weighs 1.17 T. oz. Made by Durgin, whose "D" emblem and the word "Sterling," appear on the backside, the pattern is Old Standish, issued in 1901, to be distinguished from New Standish introduced in 1905.
