Offered is a fine English Georgian sterling silver vinaigrette by specialist Birmingham silversmith Edward Smith, fully hallmarked for assay in 1833. This piece measures about 1 inch by 5/8 inches and weighs about 8 grams. This piece has a period engraved script monogram on the lid, and is nicely decorated on both top and bottom. Offered is a very nice George IV silver snuff box, by William Simpson, Birmingham 1827-28, rectangular form, with engine-turned decoration, the hinged cover initialed in period script letters of "RHS" and with a gilt interior. A large item standing 4 1/4" tall and having a base diameter of 2 1/4", this perfume bottle is German in origin. It is stamped on the neck with the national "crescent and crown" mark, "800" for the silver content (800 parts out of a 1000), and a "standing unicorn" emblem for the maker, Gebruder Kuhn.

An estate piece dating from the first part of the 20th century, the bottle itself is high quality cut glass fitted with a substantial all silver cap that is 1 1/4" high and 1 7/16" in diameter.... Click for details

Measuring 5 1/4" by 4" by 3/4" high and weighing 2.3 T. oz., this soap dish was made by Gorham in 1956 according to the date symbol imprinted on the underside.

Other marks include the company name and "lion, anchor, G" emblem, "Sterling," and the model number "60."

While fitting in the "mid century modern" period, and having the clean lines of that category, it is more truly Chippendale in style. It has a repeating rib design that appears beaded on the rim.

Measuring 1 5/8" in diameter, standing 1" high, and weighing just over .7 T. oz., this plain band napkin ring is stamped "Sterling" and with the model number "11" on the inside. It is without a maker's identifier.

It has a matte finish surface with knurled margins and a bright cut leaf and scroll design.

There is a "TGM" script monogram in the reserve area of the engraved design, while the inside of the band is inscribed "From J.W.F. Jr. Dec. 25 '99."

This napkin ring is a plain band of solid silver that measures 1 5/8" in diameter, stands 1 1/4" tall, and weighs just over 1.0 T. oz.

Made by Gorham, whose "lion, anchor, G" emblem is stamped on the inside, it is model number "673" which is also imprinted on the interior, along with the word "Sterling."

Dating circa 1880, it is Aesthetic or Eastlake in style, engraved in a pattern that is part foliate and part stylized.

Height of caddy 2-3/8"; 2-1/4 square (8 sides). Length of chest 5". Height of chest 4-1/2". Weight of silver 4 troy ounces. There is a script monogram DT on the lid of the tea caddy. Overall and mark condition are excellent. The photo isn't good, particularly of the chest but the actual object is quite nice.
