Clearly inspired by the work of Georg Jensen, this 6 1/2" long bottle opener is stamped only "Sterling Handle," with no maker's identification

It has an end that mimics Jensen's "Pyramid" and design elements around the band that abuts the stainless steel opener that are reminiscent of his "Bittersweet" and "Cactus."

Cubic and angular in construction, the handle is robust and tapers inward somewhat.

Relatively large, this inkwell stands 4 1/8" high and has a base diameter of 2 3/4". The body is brilliant period cut glass with a 1/2" wide silver band around the bottom, and with a silver collar and spherical cap.

It is model number "S623," as stamped below the hinge, along with "Sterling." Gorham's "lion, anchor, G" hallmark appears on the underside of cap, as well as "Sterling" and a date symbol for "1890." All these marks repeat on the lower rim, save the date symbol there is for... Click for details

Produced the last year of the reign of Queen Victoria, this knife rest measures 3 1/4" long, stands on two, four-spoke, arms that are 1 5/8" in diameter, and weighs a substantial 1.5 T. oz.

It is fully marked for Sheffield, sterling silver, a date letter "h" for 1900-01, and the maker's "RM over EH" in a diamond.

Offered is a rare, early and splendid George III English sterling silver toy spoon or miniature spoon (or possibly a snuff spoon), hallmarked for London, 1791 but without a maker's mark that I can discern. Often such miniature spoons were not fully marked, and were entirely unmarked in some cases.
