A long handled version, this olive spoons measures 7" as against a regular length 5 1/2" or so for this form. It weighs .7 T. oz.

Made by Watson, the pattern is Bridal Flower, introduced in 1910.

Although dating from late in the Art Nouveau period, this follows fully after that style, with a very fluid interpretation of the lily blossoms that form the centerpiece of the design.

Lengthy at 10 1/4" and weighing 2.6 T. oz., this all silver server is likely a fish slice although some sources identify it as an ice cream server.

Ice cream servers tend to be more bulbous or stubby than fish slices, while conversely the later is more slender and generally has a more pointed tip and flatter surface than the former, and this goes in that direction. For contemporary usage, it could be used for a multitude of purposes.

The larger of two sizes of sugar tongs that Reed & Barton produced in one of its flagship Art Nouveau designs, Les Cinq Fleurs, this item measures 4 5/8" long and weighs a relatively heavy 1.2 T. oz.

Issued at the turn of the 20th century, the pattern features a variety of deeply textured and highly detailed flowers, each one specific to the particular item.

Offered is a nice antique 19th Century Russian silver teaspoon of traditional form, measuring about 5 1/16 inches in length and weighing about 10 grams. This piece is hallmarked for Moscow, 1895. Condition is fairly good, with some surface wear to the bowl, which is very slightly out of round, but with no splits or repairs. All in all a perfect spoon for everyday use with Russian porcelain!

This group, a hard to find matching set of twelve in Whiting's Art Nouveau Violet, measure a typical 5 3/8" long each and weigh a relatively light 5.8 T. oz. the lot.

Introduced in 1905, these are early issue items marked "Pat. App. For." Other marks include Whiting's "lion and W" logo, "Sterling," and the name of the retailer, "I. Lewkowitz," located in New York City's lower East Side.

A design originated by Henry Hebbard, New York City, and later offered as a line pattern by Whiting, Mask was also retailed by Tiffany under its own name in the 1860s. This 6 1/8" long, .8 T. oz., sugar spoon is a case in point.

It is marked "Tiffany & Co.," "H H Patent 1859" and "Sterling." (Coin was still the general standard in this period, and some Mask shows up in coin, but Tiffany required a sterling standard.)

A late 19th century scroll pattern with a French flair as is appropriate to its name, La Reine was made by Reed & Barton.

As with much of R&B's work, the line was heavy, and that is so for this 6" long sugar spoon which weighs nearly 1.2 T. oz.

This has a generously sized, three lobe, bowl with embossed scrolling on the heel and shoulders. It is finished in a deep, matte, gold wash front and backsides.

Introduced in 1951, Rondo was made by Gorham. Both the pattern and the company name, along with the word "Sterling," appear of the backside of this 8 1/4" long, weighty at 2.5 T. oz., all silver tomato server in the pattern.

A clean design, French with a modernistic flair, this has scrolled margins which are expanded into a rosette on the handle end.

The blade is large, has scalloped edges, a pierced surface, and a slightly cupped heel.
