Purchased at an Indiana estate sale, this is a very nice candle snuffer still in the original gift box from Utterback’s Jewelers of Evansville, IND!

Snuffer measures 8 ¾” long and is probably silver plate but I could not find any markings. Neat and useful item!

Here's the face of the Gerber baby on a silver plated, long-handled infant feeding spoon. Spoons like these were made in the 1970's and you could purchase them with Gerber baby food labels and have them engraved with your baby's name. This one is engraved: 'Benjamin 3-14-78' and was to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of Gerber. Back of spoon reads: "Gerber 50 years of caring 1928 - 1978." In very good condition.

We're not going to prattle on about how rare it is or how good it is, but you may rest assured that it's both. Aside from a small test mark on the underside (please see fourth photo) the condition is pretty much flawless.
