In the center of the salver is the crest of a hand pointing upward and the motto in a banner is NE PEREAS NEC SPERNAS. Crest of Lamont, Lamond family. Overall and mark condition are excellent. Long American provenance.

Newburyport and Amesbury, Mass., silversmith made these near-mint spoons around 1800. They have the classic cut-cornered handle end with a straight tapering line to the bowl, and an unusual incised pointed drop. Mono S M in in block lettering on the front. The spoons are 5-1/4" in length, and are in excellent condition, bowl tips unworn.

Mark and overall condition are excellent (small dents in some of the ball feet).

Silverplate jewelry or ring holder tray with Siamese cat figure manufactured in Hong Kong. Evenly balanced measurements of 3 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches. There is a fine design in the tray portion. It has darkened to a point as to appear to be pewter. There is no rust or oxidation. It is quite heavy for silverplate. Detailed photos upon request. I need your zip code to calculate the postage.
