Offered is a nice decorated late 18th Century or early 19th Century American silver teaspoon by Teunis Denyse Dubois, working in New York, NY circa 1794-1820; this piece measures about 5 5/8 inches in length and weighs about 16 grams. It features engraved decoration on the handle and a good clear maker's mark and pseudo-hallmark of a sheaf of wheat (?). Condition overall is good, with modest wear from normal use and no splits or repairs. All in all a nice example of this man's work!

Marked on the reverse "Palmer. Bachelders & Co.," this 6 7/8" long, 1.4 T. oz., coin silver serving spoon traces to 1860s Boston.

The pattern is Olive, which while a standard design that was widely produced, and notably popular in the Boston area, there are variations in design among manufacturers.

This example shows clean style, with balanced proportions and well-articulated detail.

Large for a sardine fork, this piece measures 6 3/8" long and weighs 1.17 T. oz.

Made by Durgin, whose "D" emblem and the word "Sterling," appear on the backside, the pattern is Old Standish, issued in 1901, to be distinguished from New Standish introduced in 1905.

It is a clean pattern with a double lined border and tipt end set on a rounded handle.

There is a script "M" monogram engraved on the front.

Bright cut engraved designs were popular among American silver manufacturers during the last quarter of the 19th century, with this 7" long, approximately 1.6 T. oz., gravy ladle a fine example of the style.

Made by Gorham, whose "lion, anchor, G" emblem and the word "Sterling" appear on the "Old English" tipt handle backside, the pattern is Chrysanthemum, issued in 1885.

A bright cut floral and leaf design dating circa 1880 rendered in an Aesthetic manner, the pattern on this 8 1/4" long, 1.4 T. oz. serving spoon appears to be Towle's No. 38 Engraved.

The lack of a maker's mark and an ovoid shaped bowl with a flanged rim and central raised vee not typically Towle in form, however, suggests it was made by some other contemporaneous producer.
