Durgin "Louis XV" Sterling Silver Lettuce Fork
Silver : Sterling : Flatware

Old Friends
1908f   $60.00

Issued in 1891, Durgin's "Louis XV" is a dense, rococo design that reflects quite a different, and arguably more engaging, interpretation of the motif from Whiting's much simpler pattern of the same name produced in the same year.

This example is a 7 7/8" long, relatively weighty 1.0 T. oz., lettuce fork. It originally had an overall gold finish, but much of that was polished away and now shows only partly on the handle. It remains essentially intact on the three tine serving end.
