Offering 8 very nice sterling and glass drink coasters signed "Amston Sterling 144". This company was in business until 1940 when it was sold to the Ellmore Silver Co. The design is a simple 2 dot and dash pattern. The set is in very fine condition only showing some very minor dings. I would consider breaking up the set. Coin silver circular salver, Ball, Black & Co., New York City (c. 1840-1850), 10" in diameter, 1" tall, thick applied band of flowers and vines around rim, sits on three cast spayed feet, marked in back of rim "BALL, BLACK & CO" in arched punch over "SUCCESSORS TO" in rectangular punch on one side and "MARQUAND & CO" in arched punch over "WF" and "NEW YORK" in rectangular punches and an eagle punch.
