Here is a very early and attractive butter dish finely engraved with floral and scroll-work about the cover, with a fine herringbone border to the pan, topped with a long-horned cow finial. Apart from a few very tiny usage dings it is in amazing condition, complete with the original liner.
Obadiah Rich was a fine and highly respected silversmith in Boston for a relatively short time, 1832-1850.

This is a wonderful pair of large goblets with repousse decoration of scrolls and flowers. Each is further adorned with a crest of a bat. Amazing condition for their age.
John Kitts was a very prolific and highly acclaimed silversmith in Louisville from 1836 to 1878, most of that time in noteworthy businesses and partnerships such Lemon & Kendricks, Kitts & Stoy, Kitts & Werne and, finally, John Kitts & Co.

`Retailed by E. Mead & Co., St. Louis -- feathered script mono W F L on scimitar-like blade; 6-3/4" in length. Excellent condition. Josephine was Mary Todd Lincoln's pattern. Other than the last initial of the mono, there is absolutely no indication that these pieces were part of her set.

This serving spoon is 9 3/4" and weighs 2.1 Tr Oz. The condition is excellent with no dents and only minimal bowl wear. The mark is rubbed and I am unable to determine who it is ( picture 2). I do believe it is from Philadelphia (or Pa.) because of the pointed shoulders. This is an unusual size and interesting piece of Americana. Ca 1800/1810.

This boxed fish serving knife and fork remian in their original presentation box. Each piece is doubly stamped "Wm. Gale & Son," and an oval/diamond/triangle marked G&S and 1852. The handle are hollow, in the Jenny Lind pattern, and the serving ends are solid. The scale on these is massive. The slice is 13 5/8" long, and the fork is 10 1/2" long. These 7 1/2" dinner forks are in great condition. There is no tine wear or bends or dents. The unusual thing about them is the engraving on the front. It looks like a curved horn with tassels and the number 6 in the middle. On the back there looks to be a ribbon. Maybe fire station # 6 or lodge # 6 ? They are marked "N Harding" & "Pure coin". These are very nice forks.
