This serving spoon is 8 7/8" and in nice condition. (Oops there are a pair of these) The bowl is not dented and the wear is only to the rim not the bowl. It is monogramed "J. Mack". The mark is "Jones, Lows & Ball" in a rectangular cartouche. Ca 1839. The second picture is the other spoon.

Estate Item: These are probably late 1800s. Very large dinner forks and spoons. The spoons as well as the forks measure 8 1/2" long. They are extremely heavy, silverplated and has the word TINOR on the back of thre handles. The pattern is a victorian flower basket with lots of embellishments.The pattern is in relief on the back as well as the front , which makes this such a heavy utinsil. This is a nice set of 6" teaspoons. The condition is excellent, flat bowl rims with no wear and no dents. They are marked "J. Appleton Jr" whom I can't locate. The form is a typical New England shape, hence my New England attribution. Ca 1845/50.
