A very elegant and beautiful Silver Plated Box that is 6 1/4 inches wide by 5 1/4". 2 3/4 inches high, with a Hinged Lid. The inside bottom and sides of the box are lined with maroon velvet, and the inside of the lid has a swirl design in the plating. The box is in excellent condition and lokks to may not have been used little if at all. It has a beads and designs around the edges and the four feet have lions heads and paws. Sticker on the bottom says Sheridan with a lion symbol.

Gorham "Chantilly" Tray

Beautiful Gorham tray in the Chantilly pattern (YC1334) from around 1950. It is silverplate, holloware, has long been discontinued and has become difficult to find. This tray is in very good condition, and while it could stand a good polishing, it has no dents or other serious defects. The overall diameter is 15-1/2" with an 11" diameter chased center.

I have seen an original box for one of these marked “Silver”. Very strong embossing, and very top quality made. Wonderful old vintage silver plated 1902 Cereta large serving spoon by Oneida. This pattern was distributed in 1902 by Quaker Oats and Pettijohns Breakfast foods as a promotional item you could get with their saver coupons. Spoon measures 7 7/8" long, and has no wear. Just beautiful!! I will be listing a few more of the pieces from this set. VERY hard to find pieces to this pattern. The plate on these were better and heavier than their triple plated pieces.

This is a matching set of silverplate creamer and sugar dish made by Derby S.P.Co also International Silver Co. It is marked with the numbers 1140 some initial that look like EDNS and Wm. Mount. The look in pretty good shape, no dents, but need polished. I don't know if any of the plating is missing, but if it is I don't see it. They measure 2.25 inches hight and 3 inches across. These are four beautiful F.B. Rogers Silver Company Silverplate Pattern # F500
Champagne/Sherbet cups. Each cup measures 5 5/8" (14.3cm) tall, with a 4 1/4" (10.8cm) diameter cup, and the cup is 1 1/2" (3.8cm) deep, with a 3 1/8" (7.9cm) diameter base, and each weighs 9.0oz (254gr). The logo is on the bottom of each cup: F.B. Rogers, with SILVERPLATE and below that Italy. They look like they have never been used. Each one is very shiny and clean, with no dings or dents.

The Federal Silver Company's footed water pitcher is 9" (22.9cm) tall to the pour lip, 7 5/8" (19.4cm) from lip to handle, and 18 3/4" (47.6cm) around wide area, and weighs 28.9oz (818gr). It has the Federal Silver Co. E.P.C. logo on the bottom. They were manufacturers of both sterling and silver plated wares from 1920 to 1960; the factory closed in 1961. This set of Van Bergh Cream and Sugar bowls are of a satin finish style popular in the 1890s and the Van Bergh Silver Plate Co. produced quite a bit of it. The creamer has a ding/dent on left side spout away (@10:00) that can be felt on the outside and seen from the inside, and four smaller ones on the right side - spout away (@1:00, 2:00, & 3:00) that can be felt (@ 2:00 & 3:00) on the outside, all four can be seen from the inside.
