This is a neat antique jelly or jam spoon with a genuine mother of pearl handle that I brought home recently from England. The spoon is 6.75 inches long and was made 1890-1910 and has EPNS silver plate fittings and a hand engraved floral ornamented bowl. The spoon is in excellent condition. It is a very decorative piece as well as useful. Shipping in the US by USPS first class is $3.50.

This is a wonderful antique English cruet set consisting of a salt shaker, pepper shaker and mustard with spoon and original cobalt blue glass liners I brought home from England recently. The set is marked EPNS and was made 1920-1930s. The salt shaker and the mustard pot are 2.25 inches high and the pepper shaker is slightly smaller as it has no finial. This is a neat little vintage set of tea utensils, everything you need for your tea party. In the original faux snake skin case lined with silk are 6 teaspoons and matching sugar tongs with a 3 dimensional, two sided apostle design. All are marked EPNS and the set dates to the 1930-1940s. What a nice way to serve butter or cheese in style! The victorians really knew how to go whole hog! This piece features a wonderfully etched floral design (front and back) quad plated dome that has a nice finial, and with a pattern glass bottom. The dome measures 5 1/2 in. in diameter and almost 5 in. tall. The underplate measures 7 3/8 in. in diameter. This is a neat silver plated tea diffuser that I brought home from England. The gadget is used to make a cup of tea with tea leaves instead of a tea bag. The plunger type mechanism slides the bottom half of a tea ball out to receive the tea leaves, then retracts. The gadget is then put in the tea cup with hot water, and voila! This beautiful rollover dish was made by F.B. Rogers. It is silverplate, pattern 273. The dome has "petal" shapes that radiate from the top about 1/4 of the way down the spherical dome. The remainder of the dome is plain. It attaches at the middle to a 3 legged base. The legs of the base are in the shape of lions heads! They curve down to a claw foot. This lovely example of a victorian or art nouveau sweetmeat basket is in silverplate by a company named Veldon. It has very nice scroll open work and is in great condition, although there is a minute bit of corrosion (which the price reflects). It measures 3 1/2 in. It was used in victorian times to hold little confections on a elaborately laid out dessert table. Circa late 1800's. Enjoy!
