This is a fabulous sugar bowl in the shape of a coal scuttle and is called a sugar scuttle measuring 4.75 inches high, 5.75 inches long, 3 inches wide. The sugar scuttle was made in in England in the 1950s of silver plate with hand engraved floral decoration and fancy beaded rims and trim. It is marked with Hand Engraved Silver Plate Made in England, but is so worn it did not photograph. It is in excellent condition. There is no silver loss and no dents. This is a neat pair of EPNS English silver sugar tongs or sugar nips. The sugar tongs are marked in the inside of the bow but I can't make it out, but they were made in England 1930-1940s and measure 4.5 inches long. Whatever you put in this beautiful silver serving bowl will look/taste all the better. This vintage piece is marked F.B. R.B. LTD. with silver hallmarks and the number 7201. This is a Rogers Bros. silver piece. The clam or oyster shell shape is scalloped all around. The handle curves up high and gracefully. There are 3 ball 'feet' at the bottom. This is a very pretty pair of oval antique silver plated napkin rings I brought home recently from England. The napkin rings have an ornate design and lovely ruffled edges and measure 1 inch high by 2 long by 1.5 wide. They are unmarked. There is a cartouche for a monogram on each side of each ring. was a pioneer in the silver plating field. Now the mark makes it slightly confusing to date.
According to the book it is pre 1864 as the third mark, M, was removed after this time. However
the last mark, Z, should be in a diamond rather then the rectangle. I have a feeling the book is
slightly off and the M may have stayed until later of the rectangle was used too early as it was the

has a very heavy grape wreath around the rim. The center has had an initial cut in, I think it is an

This is a very pretty antique victorian silver plated EPNS knife rest I brought back from England recently. It has ends like a fancy andiron and a barley twist bar and measures 3 inches long, 1.25 inches high, 2 inches wide. The knife rest dates to 1890-1910 and is in excellent condition. Knife rests were a victorian invention to keep the table cloth clean. It is really pretty and quite collectible. Shipping in the US by USPS Priority insured is $7.60.
