THIS UNIQUE HEART SHAPED TEA STRAINER is an elegant addition to you tea time. The metal strainer 2 3/4" wide and the little black painted wooden handle is shapely and 4" long. I have not polished the silver, hence the tarnished look. Condition is great.

This is a neat pincushion in the shape of a lace up oxford shoe made of silver plated cast iron in the 1950s. The pin cushion shoe measures 4.5 inches long by 1.25 inches wide by 2 inches high. It has an inset of velvet. The shoe says Made In Japan on the sole and has japanese characters on the inside of the heel. It is in very good condition with little plate loss but does have a hole in the heel where it looks to me like someone tried to hammer a nail with it! It's a great sewing collectible. ... This nice silverplated tea strainer and bowl was made in the 1930s in Argentina by Ciro. The tea strainer pieces have a toothed rim and I really like the art deco rings as handles on the strainer. The mark is a running gazelle, CIRO and Industria Argentina. The tea strainer measures just over 6 inches long by .75 inch high and is in very good condition with only a few flaws on one edge of the bottom of the bowl and inside the bowl and would polish up very well as it is tarnished. This is a vintage English quilting thimble I brought back recently from England. It is marked England and the number 2 and measures 5/8 inch high by 3/4 inch in diameter at the base. The quilting thimble is made of brass and was silver plated. There is some wear to the plating on the outside, and the inside & bottom rolled rim are the original brass. It is in very good condition and dates from the 1930-1940s. Shipping in the US by USPS first class with tracking is $4.20.

These silverplate forks 6 7/8" and in excellent condition. They are silver on a white metal and therefore there is no show through. The pattern looks like a coin pattern and these would go very well with other coin silver. They are marked MB & Co. I have not found this maker. Ca 1850-65.

This is a pretty vintage pair of art deco silver plate knife rests I got in England recently. The ends have a trefoil leaf shape end rather like a stylized gingko leaf. They are in very good condition and measure 2.75 inches long and are 1.75 inches high and wide. They were made in the 1930s and are very decorative as well as practical to keep the tablecloth clean.

This is a pair of art deco design silver plated knife rests that were made in the 1930s in England. They measure 3.25 inches long by 1.25 inches wide by 1.25 inches high. There is very little plating loss. There is a manufacturers flaw--a small dent--on one end. There is also a tiny punched makers mark on one end but I can't read it. They are a very deco set.
