This napkin ring was made by Gorham in 1896 according to the date emblem stamped on it. Other marks are lion, anchor, G and Sterling, and the model number 1915. The piece appears for the first time in Gorham's 1896 catalog, so this was apparently the initial year of issue. It stands 1 1/4" high and is 1 5/8" in diameter, and is heavy weight at 1.5 T. oz. This sterling silver lobster pendant is 'dipped' in rhinestones instead of butter. The crustacean has a shell encrusted with pave set clear crystal rhinestones with dark rhinestone eyes. This is a sterling silver Bon-Bon dish made by Ellmore Silver Co., Meriden, Connecticut, 1935-1960. It is a floral repoussé design 350-6 with a rope rim. Silversmith mark and design number are stamped on the bottom. It is 6” in diameter and 1 3/4" high. It is in Very Fine Estate Condition with little or no signs of wear.

For sale is a wonderful set of four aesthetic hammered sterling coffee spoons by Joseph Seymour, Sons & Co. of Syracuse, NY. The spoons measure 4 11/16 inches long and together weigh 44 grams. The lightly gold-washed bowls are covered with highly unusual faceted hammer marks, and the handles have similar hammering with shaped cartouches. The spoons have not been monogrammed. For sale is a fancy sardine fork in the CORONADO pattern by Watson, date unknown. The fork is 5 3/16 inches long and weighs 20 grams. The fork is monogrammed "D" on the handle front. The fork is marked with the Watson "pennant" trademark and "STERLING".

Condition on the fork is fairly good. There is a scattering of small black spots, but otherwise just normal wear from use. A nice piece in a great old pattern!... Click for details
