Good George II sterling marrow scoop of standard form made by Jeff Griffith in London in 1732. This item came from a collection in Down East Maine. Measuring 9 1/8 inches, it is in very good condition with no flaws. The marks are very clear with a bit of rubbing on the crowned leopard.

Nice George III sterling marrow scoop from a collection that came from Down East Maine. Measuring 7 7/8 inches, it is in good condition with no flaws. The marks are difficult to read because they were rolled in the finishing, but the date mark is quite clear and the London punch and lion passant are easily decipherable. The maker’s mark can be seen within the roll, but I cannot figure it out. Someone with better eyes or more familiar with the marks would probably be able to attribute it to a mak... This is a set of eight elegant vintage matched sterling silver teaspoons or coffee spoons made in 1920-1930s. These sterling teaspoons are 4.5 inches long, are sometimes called demitasse spoons and bear the continental hallmarks of a lion, 935, which is a higher silver grade than sterling silver which is 925, KH, JandCo and a W. This is a vintage set of 6 sterling silver gold washed demitasse teaspoons or coffee spoons made by Gorham Silver Co. USA in the Chantilly pattern in their original velvet and satin box. Each of the 6 small teaspoons measure 4.25 inches long and have a gold washed bowl. The spoons have the words sterling with lion, anchor and G and the pat'd date 1899. They have a gold washed bowl and are in excellent condition and measure 4.25 inches long. Fine and scarce Georgian White Wine decanter ticket or label of kidney shape with strongly engraved block letters. These are hard to find and much sought after becasue so many people not drink white wine. It is marked twice on the back with a script JR punch, possibly that of John Robins of London, a known maker of labels.The double striking indicatesd manufacture before 1790 when a full set of marks was required. This is a lovely little antique sterling silver salt sppon whith a fancy repousse pattern and round bowl. The salt spoon is 2.25 inches long and was made 1896-1910s by Whiting Silver Manufaturing Company, Massachusetts, USA, a company that later became Whiting and Davis famous for their art deco silver designs. The spoon has it's fancy repousse edgings on both sides and is monogramed with a script letter H. A lovely and elegant addition in your open salt cellar on your dining table or tea table.... Small size (pot capacity 1 pint). Reeded halfway up the sides. Wooden handle on pot, silver handles on sugar and creamer. Wood and silver finial on hinged pot lid. Height of pot 6-3/4"; maximum horizontal dimension 7-7/8". Weight of all three pieces (including wooden handle on pot) 14.5 troy ounces. The monogram on the side of each piece is a script JMcCW (I think). Overall and mark condition are excellent. This is a beautiful small service.
