A tall very heavy pitcher, or ewer, with extensive repousse decoration of assorted flowers and fruit and a cast sterling 'branch' handle. The decoration is beautiful and of an extremely high standard. All-in-all, a very fine pitcher from A.G.Schultz & Co of Baltimore.

Sterling shell-based candlesticks by International.

This is a wonderful pair of tall sterling candlesticks in amazingly good condition by International in the Lord Robert pattern. Each has a shell and gadroon decorative frieze on the base, bobeche and at a juncture in between. They are in impeccable condition, not a blemish. The only indication of age is the wear on the bottom corners of the sterling bases.
Fully marked as pictured. In the center of the bases are additional marks: 10.875" (cannot do fractions), Cement filled.

Ornate, 12 shells around the rim (alternating large and small shells), on 3 hoofed feet. Diameter 9". Weight 13-1/4 troy ounces. In the center of the salver is the crest of a hand pointing upward and the motto in a banner is NE PEREAS NEC SPERNAS. Crest of Lamont, Lamond family. Mark condition excellent. Salver has one minor repair visible on the under side, otherwise overall condition is excellent. Long American provenance.

Must frequently referred to as just M. Hammer, this wonderful Norwegian silversmith produced some of the most wonderful items around the turn of the 20th century. These are earlier and no exception. Each open salt has 3 feet fashioned from full-bodied lion figures. Excellent condition. 830S silver. Hallmarks on bottom include the M. Hammer hallmark (hammer imposed on top of capital M) as well as the name Marius Hammer spelled out.
