Dominick & Haff's Queen Anne is a plain, double-lined design introduced in 1910. It is similar to Durgin's Fairfax and probably competed toe-to-toe with that pattern and other similar ones of the period. The early 20th century seemed to want to purge itself of the immediately preceding, and quite opulently interpreted, Victorian and Art Nouveau tastes. This sterling silver double-ended olive spoon and fork was a popular mid 19th century form. This circa 1870 example was made by New York's Wood & Hughes (marked W&H 925) and retailed by WA Spotts. The piece is 9 5/8" long. It has a central unmonogrammed cartouche, with twist arms that join to the bowl and tines. Old International Frontenac Sterling Mustard Ladle

This 4 1/4" long, sterling silver mustard ladle is a quality example of International's Frontenac. Frontenac is a popular art nouveau design that features lilies. This is an old piece with the early Simpson, Hall, Miller mark, along with the word "Sterling" and "Pat'd." It is in excellent condition. All the subtle details of the pattern remain well defined. These include stippling on the background and pollen flecks on the flower petals. There is no monogram or monogram removal.
