Georg Jensen ACORN salad serving fork
Silver: Sterling: Flatware
Bruce Cherner Antique Silver
1230 $325.00
length 9 inches, no monogram, excellent condition. When it comes to Acorn we've always felt that the sinuous bit of floral chasing where tines meet handle is what separates the men from the boys (can one still say such a thing without ending up like Larry Summers?)-- some pieces have it, and some don't. Please have a closer look, in photo number three.

Sterling Silver Salt Spoon Wallace Grande Baroque

Antiques At Time Was
tr6332 $26.00
This small sterling silver salt spoon measuring 2.4 inches long was made by Wallace Silversmith, USA in the famous Grande Baroque pattern in the 1940-1950s. Salt spoons were made to be used with the individual open salt dishes used with a formal dining service. A cute little piece and very collectible. Open salts are making a comeback, and this is an exceptional pattern. Shipping in the US by USPS first class insured is $5.92.

an American silver skewer,

Bruce Cherner Antique Silver
1202 $175.00
T. Kirkpatrick, New York circa 1870, just shy of 12 inches long, mono removal to one cartouche (please see third photo) but otherwise in fine condition. Is the antique business so slow that Cherner is considering hari-kari with a silver skewer, or is he just anticipating the start of barbecue season? You be the judge, dear reader...
