A superb pair of cased Victorian fish servers with large, carved ivory handles each centered with a fish. The sterling fork blade is engraved with scrollwork, while the sterling knife blade is engraved with a dragon and a dolphin. Made by Thomas Smily, London 1872.

Alvin began their business in 1886 and later was purchased by Gorham in 1928.
