An early pair of Georgian sterling tablespoons by the Lady herself, dated 1787. They are fully marked and bear a scrolling monogram EL. One is in extremely good condition without any tipwear and the other one has been used ! Well its not that bad. Slight tip-wear, a couple of dings in the bowl and a just discernible maker's mark. 8.5" long.

Who knew that such a thing even existed? Look at the front at you've got Buttercup; look at the back and there's nothing but "GORHAM STERLING" staring up at your face. No pattern. The kind woman who brought these into my shop said that she'd received them as a wedding present in the late 1940's. 2 3/4 inches long, excellent condition, gilt bowls, no monogram.
