Silverplate on Copper Pedestal Tray Compote
Silver: Sterling: Hollowware
BlueMoon Ent.
0078 $40.00
A vintage silver plated on copper pedestal serving tray, the shallow bowl is lavishly decorated with - what I can only describe as a fleur-de-lis type coat of arms or seal - an exuberance of art-deco patterns within patterns. I have not been able to find much about this piece's, manufacturer, use, or pattern. It seems to be ideally suited for holiday decorated as a center piece or in a buffet with a wonderful spinach-bread bowl on it. Copper based silverplated hollowwares are by nature stur... Arthur Stone floral three piece salad serving set
Silver: Sterling: Hollowware
Bruce Cherner Antique Silver
2003 SOLD

Chickering mentions that even as an apprentice working ten hour days, he found time for "strenuous hikes in the surrounding countryside that kept him physically fit," but such strolls also gave the young artist a chance to observe and appreciate the flowers and other natural forms which comprise t...
