Flares at top. Applied ring base. Applied molded top reinforcing ring. Diameter 6-1/2". Height 4". /Weight 13-1/2 troy ounces. Presentation inscription on the side (could be erased) as follows: 1913-1938/A Token of Appreciation/of outstanding services/to/Emma Knodel/from/the Trustees of/The Irvington Public Library. (Irvington, NY). Overall and mark condition are excellent. The SSS mark was used only briefly by the Arthur Stone shop, about 1938.

This is a sterling silver Bon-Bon dish made by Ellmore Silver Co., Meriden, Connecticut, 1935-1960. It is a floral repoussé design 350-6 with a rope rim. Silversmith mark and design number are stamped on the bottom. It is 6” in diameter and 1 3/4" high. It is in Very Fine Estate Condition with little or no signs of wear.

Silver marked 925. Full length silver statue of Moses with raised right arm, left arm holding two tablets of 10 Commandments (in Hebrew?), also a six-point Jewish star at the top of each tablet. On a stone base bearing label Ben-Zion/Israel. Felt on base. Overall and mark condition are excellent.

Two rows of elaborate piercing highlight this superior oval sterling mustard pot with its elegant body, pierced thumbpiece and urn finial. It retains its cobalt blue liner. It is fully marked on the base (the maker's mark is upside down in the photo) and marked on the underside of the lid with a lion passant and the maker's mark, which is faint. Offering this child or baby sterling silver cup. As modern cups are very light I estimate this to have been produced approx. 1930's or 40's due to the 3 oz weight. Marked on bottom "Wallace Sterling 25". Cup measures 2-3/8" tall by 2-5/8" across and will hold 6 fl. oz. The handle extends out another 1-3/8". Cup is monogrammed "KAW". Sides of bowl divided into five segments. Marked STERLING/HAND WROUGHT/AT/THE KALO SHOPS/CHICAGO/AND/NEW YORK/F5. Diameter 8-1/2"; height 1-3/4". Weight 12-2/3 troy ounces. The monogram on the side is LD/ELM. Mark and overall condition are excellent (the usual minor surface scratches in bowl).

This is a copy of the original by John Dixwell of Boston, who died in 1725 at age 45. Original is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (see pix of inscriptions on bottom of cup). This piece was made in the 1940s. It is 3-1/4" high x 2-7/8" diameter at flared rim. Weight is a solid 6 T oz. It has an S-scroll reeded strap handle and a reeded band at the base. It is engraved Alana June in script on the front. Condition is excellent throughout.

This is a cute small baby cup in sterling. Marked "WH & Co. Sterling" inside a circle it measures 1.25" high by 2" across not counting the handle. Some small dings on the base but do not distract from the overall appearance.
