Lebolt (Chicago) was a well known name in the American arts & crafts movement during the first quarter of the 20th century. This item is a 3" by 7/8" by 5/8", .9 T. oz., solid sterling silver napkin ring. It has a hammered surface and applied "E" monogram. The condition is flawless. The form is perfect, the surface is free of blemishes, and the finish is appealing. Marks are the Lebolt emblem, the words Sterling and Hand Made, and the number 136.

This sterling silver napkin ring stands 1 1/2" high and is 1 3/8" in diameter. It weighs a hefty 1.4 T. oz. It is stamped on the interior "A. Stowell & Co.," "Sterling," and "K." Stowell was a Boston retailer. This may have been made by Gorham, and if so, the K would be a date letter for 1877. This is consistent with the aesthetic period, naturalistic engraving on the otherwise plain walls. It is also monogrammed "N.R. Walsh/Trinity."
