Hotel silver dragon handled bowl
Silver: Sterling: Smalls
Sweets to the Sweet @ Le' Chateau Woods
00042 $68.00
This is a cool bowl or master salt? It features two large dragon heads on either side of the bowl. It seems to be made out of the old hotel ware silver plate. It stands about 2 1/2 in. tall and 6 1/2 in. wide from snout to snout. There is some corrosion to the inside, but not real bad. Could be professionally cleaned. Would make a nice conversation piece.

Victorian Russian sterling silver sugar scoop
Silver: Sterling: Smalls
Sweets to the Sweet @ Le' Chateau Woods
00004 Sold...Thanks
WOW! What can't I say about this piece. I had to literally twist my arm to put this one up for sale. It is the most unusual serving piece I have ever seen. I thought it might be from the aesthetic movement, but another dealer thought that it might be art nouveau because of the use of nature in the design, whatever the case, it is absolute victorian gorgeousness! It is dated within a circle on the bowl 1890 along with a mark that I could not make out followed by AA. Next to that is stamped AB in ... Click for details
