Shiebler Naturalistic Sterling Napkin Ring
Silver: Sterling: Smalls
Old Friends
178b $ 150
This napkin ring is stamped with George Shiebler's emblem, the word Sterling, and the number 610. It is relatively large, 1 3/8" high and 1 7/8" in diameter, and heavy, nearly 1.7 T. oz. The design is a repeat that looks quite like tree bark. This is naturalistic and in the aesthetic mode, likely dating from the late 19th century. There is a script inscription that reads, "G.T.S. to G.T.S. Jr." It is in excellent condition. It retains its roundness and is free of any other signs of wear.
