A weighty item at 1.0 T. oz., this 5 7/8" long teaspoon is a superb example of Wallace's figural "Irian" pattern.

It portrays a full-sized, semi-draped, female image with three putti surrounding her head. One of these is cupid like and is pointing a bow and arrow at her.

Additional detailing includes orchid blossoms, leaves and other flowers, front and back sides, all presented in an Art Nouveau manner, which is consistent with the 1902 date of this line.

Retailed by Greenleaf & Crosby, a storied name in Florida jewelry and fine goods, this 6 1/8" long, .9 T. oz., spoon was made by William B. Durgin of Concord, New Hampshire, around the turn of the 20th century.

It is a souvenir piece depicting the city of St. Augustine, specifically the landmark "Old City Gates," as acid etched on the handle backside.

Theodore Roosevelt's place in history is secured by many deeds, exploits, and his role as the 26th President of the United States, but one of the most enduring and charmingly whimsical associations was that he served as progenitor of the teddy bear.

A 5 7/8" long, .8 T. oz., item, this teaspoon is engraved "March 18, 1898" on the handle reverse and with a delicate, fancy, feathered script "WMC" monogram on the front.

The pattern is Watson's "Cherub," which takes its name from the winged (upward tilting) figure that appears at the tip of the extensively embellished handle. Employing acanthus leaf detailing, and with an irregularly shaped margin, the design embodies a rococo sensibility.

These two, 5 3/4" long, approximately .7 T. oz. each, spoons were made by Toronto's P.W. Ellis & Co., with each stamped "Sterling" on the handle and back of the bowl, and with the firm's "E inside a maple leaf" emblem in adjoining places.

Dating from 1902, George Shiebler's group of twelve month designs follows closely after his Flora series and his line pattern "Fiorito." All of them incorporate Art Nouveau, floral motifs.

This trio includes the months of "April," "September," and "November," and portrays respectively, a lily, a poppy, and a chrysanthemum.

This sterling silver souvenir spoon is replete with provenance. It was made by Dominick & Haff, whose three part emblem and the word "Sterling" appear on the backside. The theme is the "Chicago Fire" of 1871, and appropriately enough the retailer was Chicago's "C.D. Peacock" whose name appears alongside the manufacturer's mark and the words "Pat'd. '91."

Collectible advertising souvenir silver Rolex Bucherer demitasse spoon with a lion embossed inside the bowl, and "ROLEX BUCHERER WATCHES LUCERNE" embossed on the front of the handle. The back of the handle is embossed "CB 69 Measures 4 3/8 inches long by 3/4 inch wide. It has some tarnish, but will clean up nicely. Perfect condition. No sterling or 925 mark. May be silver plate.
