Vintage miniature footed trinket box measuring 1 1/2" in height and 1 1/2" in width. I've always wondered about this box because the body has rosebuds and leaves and the lid has a transfer of Niagara Falls and Prospect Point. The legs and rim have gold enameling which is actually pretty much intact. There are several manufacturing flaws. It is very fragile which has resulted in one tiny chip on the rim of bottom. It is souvenir bowl from Toronto. This bowl measures 4" across. It has a very fragile feel to it. There are no chips, cracks or breaks. The paint seems to be pretty much intact. There is fine crazing and on the back, there are areas of darkening. I can't give a definite date of manufacture of this item, but Bovey Pottery closed around 1957.
