picturing himself and Queen Elizabeth. George was the second son of King George the V and was crowned because of the abdiction of his brother Edward in 1936. King George died of cancer in 1952, leaving his daughter,
Elizabeth to become the Queen of England.
Some rust on back, but otherwise in great
condition considering the age.

Vintage souvenir plate of Canada. Made by Sabin (1946-1979,) it is marked on the back with the Sabin Pallette, Crest-o-Gold, and It measures 10 1/4 inches in diameter and has a border of about one inch of gold trim.
10 Canada states crests in the middle and a horse and calvary men.Excellent condition.

This is a wonderful vintage linen souvenir tea towel or dish towel or cloth commemorating the poet Robert Burns made in Scotland by N. Lockhart and Sons, Ltd Scotland of scottish linen. The tea towel, towel dish towel was made 1920-1930s and is in very good condition and measures 28 inches by 19 inches wide. A wonderful practical and historical piece!

This is a wonderful hallmarked English sterling silver medal or pocket watch fob weighing 5.1 pennyweight. The medal watch chain ornament is hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1952 SS Ltd., and was awarded to Reginald Channing 5.10.52. The molded medal says Amateur Ballroom Medalists and in enamel I.D.M.A. The medal is in excellent condition with normal wear. sneaking hunch this was from one of the World’s Fairs held in Chicago. It is not marked that way
though. It does show wear to the silver tone plating. It still has the original mirror inside.

This original 1950's ring is made with genuine BUTTERFLY WING. That's how it gets its blue-purple-pink iridescent colors. The tropical scene includes a palm tree silhouetted on the lake. Ring is silvertone metal and is adjustable. Top measures 5/8 inch across by 15/16 inch high. This is old store stock, a souvenir that was sold at beach resort areas back in the 1950's. Unworn, excellent condition.

This is a nice example of a souvenir that you might pick up from the streets of England or an english pub. It has several points of interest engraved into the body of the mug. There is the Tower of London, Piccadilly Circus, Houses of Parliament, Tower Bridge and Trafalgar Square. It measures 5 in. tall and 4 in. in diameter at the base. This is a wonderful 3.75 inch high porcelain mug manufactured by Royal Albert China, Staffordshire England in 1911 to commemorate the coronation of King George V and Queen Mary grandparents of the present Queen Elizabeth II. Ceramic souvenir plate, 10 in., from the Grotto and Shrine at Dickeyville WI. Construction began in the 1930s, but this plate probably dates from the 1960s+, and may have been a restoration fundraiser. As one of the largest folk art installations in the US, this shrine is a testament to community and the Catholic faith. Very good condition.
