This vintage tobacco cigar glass lid is for Wm. Penn cigars. Glass is perfect antique condition. Metal surrounding the glass is in pretty good shape showing moderate age. Store owner would slide the glass lid onto a cigar box and allow the merchant to display the cigars. He would close the lid to keep the cigars fresh. The lid is 8" by 6 1/2". Here is an unusual ashtray depicting a boy and girl in Victorian costume. They are hand painted, delightful little characters carrying what looks to be flowers or vegetables. On the bottom is stamped into the ceramic MADE IN JAPAN with a Y symbol inside a O. They are about 3 1/4 inches tall and the bottom measures 4 inches x 2 3/4 inches.
