Catalina Island Swordfish Ashtray #657. Beautiful light burgundy/dark pink color in excellent condition. No chips, cracks crazing or any other damage. Just shows a slight bit of shelf wear on bottom at corners. Probably has been used, but very clean now Measures a bit over 3 ¾” square, about ¾” tall. This is a true beauty. Whether looking for an elegant cigar ashtray or just adding to your collection, this is an awesome piece of hand crafted art glass. Beautiful magenta cranberry color cased in clear glass. Three cigar size rests. Measures 4 1/4" tall and is VERY heavy. Perfect condition other than somr superficial scratches on the bottom. This is an Aghnides Glass Insert for an ashtray, patent number is imprinted on bottom. Circa 1940 maybe. Aghnides' inventions were controversial. This insert is in nice condition. Top is 5 1/2" diameter, 1 5/8" tall. Tapers to about 2 3/4" diameter bottom.
