Twixt is a 2-player abstract game invented by Alex Randolph. The one offered here is an original from 1962
Twixt is a "connection-type" game, the standard battle-type game such as chess or checkers.
The game was popular in the 60s and 70s as part of the 3M Bookshelf Series.
The game is complete included the instructions book.With only minor wears on the outer box corners,it is in excellent condition.

This is an Original Cress Educational Board made in 1925. This version is is oval-shaped, measures 9 1/2" x 13" and has 40 wood tiles. (Earlier versions were round.) One side had letter tiles and the other side has numbers and mathematical symbols (+, -, x, and the division sign). The tiles can be moved around the tracks to form words or math problems.
