Produced 1950-57, this is a rare Steiff dressed character dog/doxie/dachsund. He is called Waldili and has both his ear button and chest tag. He is about 9" tall and in superb condition. If it weren't for some spots on the hat and a pretty well used up feather in his cap, this would be "mint to near mint" condition. His clothes are felt and the rifle is made of wood. His head swivels. He is #326. One of many Steiff's bought in Occupied Germany after WWII and brought to USA.
