Found at an estate sale with no history so I can't tell you much about this one. It appears to be an oval shaped painting of one of the Royal Irish in uniform. It is mounted on velvet and black frame, no glass. There are some "wear" marks on the velvet as I suspect this is quite old. It is 4 1/2" x 5 1/2". A wonderful gift for your Irish friend or relative.

This is a very pretty 10-3/8" dinner plate made by Blue Ridge - Southern Potteries. This is called the "Wrinkled Rose" pattern. The plate is painted with a pink and yellow rose and surrounded by a pretty yellow border. The plate has some crazing and 3 small nicks on the underside of the rim which can only be seen when you turn the plate over. This would make a very pretty wall hanging.
