A Very Nice Vintage Small Cedar Chest with a Hinged Lid and a Lock [unfortunately we do not have the key - but the lock will hold the lid shut.]. I don't know where to start with this one. Clearly at least 100 years old. The base fabric is a heavy duty silk - sturdy enough to withstand the weight of the ornate beadwork. It is a little jacket or shoulder covering or cape or as I like to call it, a "capelet". It is worn over the shoulder and is fitted but does not have sleeves. How rare is it to find one, let alone a pair of these? Each half doll is attached to its original hand-made pincushion bottom. Both are in a state of needfulness in that the trim is coming undone from the main fabric and there has been staining on the cloth. I wouldn't try to do anything to these as right now they are in their original state. Fabulous! I have a total of 9 photos but could only put up 5 of them here. Email if you wish to see more.

This beautiful purse probably was worn together with item aqs1500 ((Linen colored (pale ecru) hand-crocheted gloves)). It is absolutely charming in its delicacy and because of the cute little tatted balls that hang from the sides and bottom.

This teensy perfume bottle is very unique and I believe very rare! It is footed with a swirly pattern with some gold flecking within some of the swirls (that's what leads me to believe venetian vs. Bimini-Austrian. The brass neck has an older patina to it while the glass stopper and dauber are a bright gold glass which upon close inspection appears to be like a mercury glass although I have never seen a gold-colored piece of mercury glass. This teensy perfume bottle is very special. It is not your run-of-the-mill mini-perfume. This one has a hinged part that when opened reveals a mirror! How cools is that?! The front side is silver-tone filigree work. The back side shows clearly the opaque glass body of the bottle. Glass stopper intact. Turuoise color jewels and a small amount of enamelled flowers.
