This is a neat powder jar shaped like a military hat with a mirror on top! Per reference books, this powder jar was produced in the 1940’s by Paden City Glass Manufacturing Company. The powder jar is in wonderful condition – it has 3 teeny (1/16”) dings on rim edge (just above front insignia) and a couple more on side – they are all very small.

Interior floor is marked Hardy Made in U.S.A. It measures 7 x 4 x 4 inches. I am sorry to say that I left this beauty packed away in the basement for over 10 years (never unpacked from a move) and this allowed the clasp to lose a lot of the bronze finish. The opening and closing of the clasp has caused a slight amount of roughness. There are some other tiny areas of roughness on the lid rim. The interior is unlined and in an immaculate condition. Offering this magnificent antique vanity tray. This oval tray has an intricate flower & leaf pattern on the side with handles in a scroll design and bezel set green and ruby colored stones. A delicate lace doily sandwiched between two panes of glass. Stands on four clever styled wire legs that also hold the glass in place. Measures 13" x 6.25" and is in excellent condition.
