This is a wonderful item of victoriana. This is an antique ivory glove stretcher dating 1880-1890s. The glove stretcher measures 8 inches long and has a scissor action pivoting on an internal bone wheel. The action has a tight return and I don't know the mechanics but it works beautifully. The glove stretcher was an essential part of every victorian woman's vanity tolls or gadgets and was used to gently stretch the fingers of the many pairs of kidskin gloves required at the time. This is another one of those wonderful childhood memories. Celluloid Jeweled hand mirror with beveled glass is "simply beyond beautiful". It measures 14 1/2" tall (see pics), and 4 3/4" wide. The handle measures 7 1/2" long. The mirror is beveled and measures 6" x 4". This piece of vintage, jeweled art deco has been very gently used and well cared for over the past 50+ years. Beautiful vintage "Celluloid" hand-held mirror. It is ivory in color with white roses. This mirror measures 13 3/4" long. The handle is 7 1/2" and mirror size is 5 1/2" round. Upper portion of mirror shows wear, it appears to be on the back side. Extremely sturdy and in good condition.

I believe this very unusual pin to be from the Georgian era, but am not positive. It measures approx. 2 5/8" across and is made of what appears to be steel and an amethyst stone set in the center. It has a "C" clasp and an early Tube hinge on the reverse, and is just beautiful! The clasp and hinge are in perfect working condition, although the "pin" itself is a tiny bit bent. This c 1900 porcelain set includes a Tressemanes & Vogt (Limoges) 11 3/8" hand painted tray and matching 6" (high) cider pitcher, both in mint condition.
